This Fassmer davit is suitable for rescue boats up to 21 kN launching weight and for liferafts for up to 25 persons. The slewing of the davit is effected hydraulically, as required by the IMO/ Solas. The winch is power operated for hoisting and is lowered by gravity. The system can be turned out, lowered, recovered and turned in with the crew on board either from deck position or inside the boat.
