Due to the low weight and convenient lifting handles, it is easy to move the Searchlights from the storage and mount them on deck by one single person. All the components are chosen to withstand corrosion and require minimum of maintenance. The Searchlights has a water and gas-tight drum with ventilation and safety valve, and it also incorporates a dual lamp change over system in accordance to Suez Canal Authorities requirements.
