Marlow's D2 for Superyachts extends the standard D2 range up to 28mm. Our large diameter ropes also have pre-stretched 12 strand Dyneema® cores with 24 plait polyester covers and are available in our Classic colours or custom colours to order.

Superyacht D2 can also be customised to improve weight and handling by drawing on technology developed in our Grand Prix Series range. Marlow's "Max" process for Dyneema® significantly increases strength and reduces stretch for a given diameter allowing downsizing of rope diameters and possibly deck gear.

In addition, Marlow can offer a Dyneema® SK90 upgrade instead of the standard SK75. This has the effect of increasing the rope's break-load, by on average 16% - also resulting in the ability to downsize, thereby reducing weight and improving handling ability.
