As a unique feature the steering repeater compass provides heading source indication. The digital course transmission system via Anschütz course bus / NMEA provides absolute heading information; therefore repeater compass synchronization is no longer necessary. The combined analogue/digital steering repeater compass is presented as a standardized module for simple installation in bridge desks, steering stands or casings.
