WATERTIGHT BULKHEADS
Watertight bulkheads are located in front of the crew heads, the forward and aft ends of the engine room and the aft end of the owner's cabin. Access to the engine room is via a watertight door through the aft bulkhead.
MAIN PROPULSION Main propulsion is provided by a pair of Caterpillar 3406 C marine diesel engines, each producing 322 Brake Horsepower through ZF gears to Aquamet shafts turning Michigan propellers. GENERATORS Power generation is provided a pair of Northern Lights 40 kW generators. The electrical system provides for both marina connections and mechanical charging using a Atlas Shorpower converter and a Mass battery charger. 230V outlets and systems are supplied from a Mass 230V Power Inverter. THRUSTERS Two fixed Arcturus 50 hp hydraulic thrusters are fitted fore and aft. STEERING Two steering stations are fitted. The master station in the wheelhouse and secondary station on the flybridge are fitted with Mini Marex throttles. Both stations are wheel-steered via a power-assisted Sumner helm pump. TANKAGE
Black and Grey water tanks are built into the hull structure with facilities for overboard or dockside discharge. Fuel and water tanks are built into the hull structure with a total fuel capacity of approximately 24 000 L and a total water capacity of 4 000 L. A pair of 1200 Gal. per day desalinators is also installed.
