Installation and connectivityA single coaxial cable connects the control unit with the antenna unit. Using a standard coaxial cable, up to 500 meters of separation between the units can be obtained, enabling freedom to mount the antenna unit in an optimal location with a clear line of sight to the satellites.
GMDSS & servicesThis system is the first on the market to feature all three GMDSS services in one terminal: safety voice, distress alerting and maritime safety information messaging. In addition, it provides Iridium global voice and data services, making it suitable as a primary satellite communication product on vessels, for crew calling, or as backup satellite communication equipment.
