Das Marine 450 Family AR verfügt über ein modernes Rumpfdesign, das speziell für die anspruchsvollen Bedingungen im Norden entwickelt wurde. Das Boot enthält kein Sperrholz, sondern einen widerstandsfähigen Kunststoffboden und öffnungsfähige Aluminiumluken, weshalb es sich für arktische Gewässer, Fjorde und Archipele eignet (AR = Arctic). Sitze sind mit Schaumstoff bezogen; die Aluminiumkonstruktion sorgt für lange Lebensdauer bei kalten Temperaturen.
